 F.A.Q. - How to add the bootsector to a CDRWIN project?
How to add:
Using CDRWin 3.8a do the following:
  1. Start CDRWin 3.8a
  2. Click the button "File Backup and Tools"
  3. ATTENTION! If you are usibg the original Microsoft Windows XP/2000/NT bootsector (NT5BOOT.BIN or NT4BOOT.BIN) you ABSOLUTELY have to select "Disable version numbers". If you do not do this, you will get the error 'CDBOOT: Couldn't find NTLDR' on startup.
  4. Click the button "Advanced Options…"
  5. Go to the card "Bootable Disk"
  6. Select "Make Bootable Disk"
  7. From the dropdown menu "Media Emulation Type" select "Custom"
  8. In the field "Image File Name" navigate to your bootsector file using the button "…"
  9. In the field "Load Sectors Count" enter "4"
